Creating an Engaging Student Experience Centres at Wadham College, Oxford University
We were commissioned to provide high quality educational audio-visual products and services for the launch of Wadham college, Oxford University’s new state-of-the-art educational experience centres for their students. The results were engaging student experience centres that will be used by generations of Wadham’s’ scholars and leaders.
Our brief was to equip the new Access Centre and the Undergraduate Centre. The new student experience rooms at Wadham college, Oxford University include seminar rooms, a student bar, a common room, and a café, as well as communal spaces.
Working with the original building design, we were able to develop alternative solutions which offered maximum future-proofing to the College. This included offering assistive listening solutions to ensure the facilities are accessible to all. Presentation systems were added in the seminar rooms; extra care was needed to incorporate the divisible space, interactive meeting spaces and full entertainment space in the Undergraduate Common Room.
Working in collaboration with General Contractor, Beard Construction, this project was installed and completed on time with our team working through the pandemic and lock-down to ensure the project continued as planned.
How the Wadham College, Oxford University project was created
We supplied a Creston NVX driven solution for content sharing in all spaces, along with presentation materials and microphones in the communal spaces to allow for flexibility in the use of the building.

Innovox SL4.1 Loudspeakers – The SL-4.1 R is a slim 2-way loudspeaker designed to be surface-mounted and disappear into the architectural surroundings. Its precision ribbon high-frequency driver and four 4′ long-excursion low-frequency drivers resolve complex audio programs with detail and clarity that does not seem possible from such a small package.
LG Commercial Screens – LG’s Commercial screens and signage solutions, provide the ability to create and customise content, more simply and easily.
